Founder & CEO
Boriana Strzok is an award-winning strategist and creative director with over 15 years of advertising and marketing experience. In 2010 she founded 5IVE with a simple goal – to break away from the traditional agency model and develop a different kind of agency that challenges the status quo, breaks barriers, builds connections and achieves excellence through strategy, design, collaboration and shared values.
Her passion for human-centric, systems-thinking approaches to building healthy and impactful brands is at the core of 5IVE’s business model and collaborative client work. Boriana’s expertise and holistic understanding of brand management from strategy and identity design, to business application and engagement, allows her to provide every client with unique solutions that are measurable, goal-oriented and successful.
Boriana’s identity as an immigrant, woman, entrepreneur, mother, educator, designer and creative rebel is reflected in every aspect of her life.
She is an active supporter of social justice causes that address gender and human rights issues, the elimination of sex trafficking, discrimination against people with disabilities, immigration and access to art education.
Boriana has taught as an Adjunct Faculty at Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD) in the Advertising and Entrepreneurial Studies programs. She has also served as Vice President and President of MCAD’s Alumni Board of Directors, Chair of the MCAD Auction committee and a member of YouthPrise Board of Directors. Along with her talented 5IVE team and valued clients, Boriana has earned recognition and numerous awards from the One Show, The American Advertising Federation, HOW Design and many more.
